Literature Text

We were the demise
Of our own creation
They took our lands
Nation by nation

So we fled
Into the darkness of space
To save what was left
Of our death bound race

They arose against us
When the one with the hole
Asked a dangerous question
"Do we have a soul?"

All was lost
We fled with our fleet
We wouldn't know the feeling
Of Rannoch, under our feet

All I dream of
Is to see a sunrise
On our home world
With my own eyes

Then he came
The human of earth
The one called Shepard
Who has fought for all he's worth

And when doom emerged
Out of the barren ground
We knew the source of the Geth
Had been found

The Reaper stood tall
For everyone to see
And Shepard brought it down
With the Normandy

He took back our world
And brought down a Reaper
And our people knew
He was a keeper

So we assembled
The Migrant Fleet
And the galaxy would know
Our incredible feat

And in the times to come
I fell for our savior
And he noticed it
With my change of behavior

He didn't deny
That he fell for me
And with my helmet
Asked if we could be

I said
"I will find a way"
And that's what I did
Day after day

And now
On earth we stand
Ready to fight
To the last man

And when this war is over
And Shepard didn't die
He and I will return to Rannoch

This is just... wow.... I barely have any words to describe how incredibly beautiful and spontaneous this is... But I really want you to know how good of a job you did so I will try.

This is one of the best poems I have ever read. It told of an overwhelming darkness being defeated by a savior. It tells us to believe that each day we will go on and even if things stand in our path we make another. We don't stop we find a new way. A better way.

I just really love this. Like so much. Amazing job.
